"As first time home buyers we were very picky. But Stephanie really was patient with us, had great responsiveness to our questions-she even asked questions like what were the deal breakers, what can were we looking for, what were our needs, and even agreed when we really didn't like something. And when we found THE perfect home, she was with us every step answering all questions negotiating and supporting patiently through the hiccups. I will recommend Stephanie and have in fact! Thank you Stephanie for helping us find our dream home. "

"Stephanie did an amazing job, suggesting the exact house we needed! Throughout the process she was great with communication, responding to our requests and text messages momentarily. Worked really hard to schedule the viewings at convenient time and as soon as possible, showed us additional properties so we could compare. During the contract time Stephanie kept checking on us, keeping us informed about the timeline, possible slowdowns and negotiating on our behalf. Would definitely recommend Stephanie. We love the house, Thank you so much!"

"Our time working with Stephanie was an absolute pleasure. She was super responsive, open, flexible and explained all the details, plus she had a good sense of humor. She spent a good amount of time getting to know me and getting a good understanding of what our family needed in a home. I would highly recommend working with her."

"First, my fiance and I were looking for our first home ever. We're from NYC and the idea of owning a home in Beacon was a distant and overwhelming goal. Secondly, my anxiety lives at a steady 10. So going into this process I needed a unicorn: someone that was going to be part therapist, part expert real estate professional -a jack of all trades. I found all of that in Stephanie. This market was incredibly difficult to navigate. I needed a lot of handholding, constant updates and reassurance. Stephanie worked her magic and in a little over a month we had an accepted offer on our first home in arguably one of the toughest markets. Her recommendations for local activities and restaurants rounded out the experience. All the questions I had were answered in record time. We felt completely taken care of and confident that Stephanie would get us through this process unscathed. She's funny, caring, knowledgeable - just the absolute best. I (not so) secretly hope she stays on as my friend."

"Stephanie helped us find renter to sublet our apartment to back in September 2020 when my husband accepted a new work opportunity causing us to move in less than 2 weeks. She was great about communicating to us in a timely manner and the renter she found is awesome! We would highly recommend her!"

"We have nothing but great things to say about Stephanie! We had a timeline of two weeks to move in, and she was available right away to show us a few apartments. She showed us our dream spot and we were able to start moving in less than a week! Highly recommend!" - Matt

"Stephanie is the best broker I've ever worked with- and I've moved a lot. She made the entire process from viewing apartments to signing the lease, a piece of cake. I wholeheartedly recommend Stephanie for her professionalism, caring demeanor, superb communication, and friendliness." - Char

"Stephanie was very accommodating to our odd availability, and worked hard to find us a place that meets our needs in an incredibly short time. We love our new apartment, and have already put some of Stephanie's tips about our new area to use!" - Kelsey

"We worked with Stephanie to find our apartment to rent in Beacon and really appreciated that she is a great communicator and very thoughtful. She listened to our priorities and came back to us with a bunch of options, and ultimately helped us land a home we know we'll be in a happy in for at least the next few years. Would highly recommend working with her and we will certainly do so again!" - Mara

About Stephanie

Thanks so much for visiting!

Stephanie is an artist and entrepreneur who grew up on a family farm in Massachusetts. A 2007 graduate of Manhattanville College, Stephanie studied writing, sociology and theater. In the years since, she has launched a number of pet projects and small businesses, including FrankenStuffs, which are one of a kind, handmade plush animals made from recycled toys, and the popular Queer Expression Fairs in Brooklyn, featured in TimeOut and Go Magazine.

On the side, she personally runs all of the local Hudson Valley Housing groups on Facebook, Beacon Santas (a charity which connects local families in need with local "Santas"), and ran the hugely successful Beacon Petsitting & Dogwalking for the past five years.

Stephanie is resourceful, practical, and an old school creative pioneer... she is honest, communicative, and all around a pretty fun and "no bullshit" kind of girl. She takes what she does seriously, without taking herself too seriously ... aka, we're going to have a great time finding your dream house :) )

Stephanie moved to Beacon with no job, and no place to live, with a mattress strapped to her Saturn sedan and an aging pit-bull just two weeks after visiting for the first time in 2014, and she has never looked back. Now, having purchased her dream house on the banks of the Wallkill River, she is thrilled to be able to help others make their homes in her own Home Sweet Hudson Valley, where she has found so much happiness and success.

Buying your first home? Curious about the process? Hoping to build your portfolio, or want to learn about life here, and possibilities, and where the next hot spot is?
